Roller Skate Turkiye started its journey with a woman who dreamed about bringing the united and colorful culture of roller skating to her own country in 2021.
She met two other women having the same ambition while it was a little platform where people reached out to each other to meet and skate.
In the last two years that they spent dreaming, envisioning, and coming up with new ideas, they collaborated with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and other private institutions to organize Turkey’s first roller disco parties.
By the year 2023 as Turkey’s first official roller skate association, they are continuing their workshops and events in order to expand and develop roller skating culture in Turkey.
Istanbul has been a multicultural city throughout history; it connects Asia to Europe and most importantly connects people by being reachable worldwide.
